Why 13 Weeks?
We have trained new dental assistants in our offices for many years and found that many graduates from other schools often need additional on-the-job training to become fully efficient in a dental practice.
To address this, we designed a curriculum focused on practical, real-world skills. It began as a 10-week course but expanded to 13 weeks to include additional material and hands-on experience.
Students train in a fully equipped dental office and lab, gaining experience with both basic and advanced dental assisting procedures that reflect everyday clinical work.
In addition to the 13-Week Dental Assisting Program, we also offer:
7-Week Orthodontic Assisting Program – Focused on skills for assisting with orthodontic procedures and appliance placement.
EDDA (Expanded Duty Dental Assistant) Program – Covers advanced techniques and procedures for expanded dental duties certification.
Dental X-Ray Program – Provides instruction on radiographic techniques, safety, and state requirements for certification.
CPR/BLS Certification – Training in Basic Life Support and CPR, required for all dental professionals.
